The Hilo Viking Robotics Club from Hilo High School is accepting applications to attend the annual youth robotics camp, Camp Eureka.

The Hilo Viking Robotics Club from Hilo High School is accepting applications to attend the annual youth robotics camp, Camp Eureka.

The camp will be conducted during the week of winter intersession, Dec. 19-23. Come and learn from HVR students who compete in VEX robotics and FIRST robotics competitions on the Big Island and Oahu.

Sessions will be from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. each day of the camp. Students will have a wide variety of information and technology concepts to explore, as well as a variety of robotics platforms to learn about. The camp also serves as extension of science, technology, engineering and mathematics learning.

Age range for students is 8-12 years old. Cost is $175 per student. Registration deadline is Dec. 19 and space is limited.
